This 5 Minute Wonton soup is a really cozy soup to enjoy on a cloudy day! It is packed full of veggies, ridiculously easy to make, and tastes like something you would probably order for takeout! The twist is that it comes together in one pot with frozen dumplings from Trader Joe’s!

It’s the kind of lunch that feels comforting yet balanced: warm broth, veggies, savory dumplings, and just enough flavor to make you crave it again the next day. (I literally eat this twice a week it is that good).

Why You’ll Love This Trader Joe’s Wonton Soup

  • Ready in about 5 minutes
  • Uses freezer staples
  • Packed with vegetables
  • Easy to customize with whatever you have on hand

Ingredients

  • Olive oil
  • Carrot
  • Celery
  • Veggie or chicken broth – I like to use the low sodium kind to control the salt in this recipe!
  • Chicken bullion
  • Black pepper
  • Bok choy – a great vegetable to add to this soup, you can use both the green leaves and the white stem
  • Trader Joe’s Pork or Chicken Gyoza – both work really great in this recipe
  • Soy sauce
  • Salt – always optional! The soy sauce already has a lot of salt, but if you think it needs a tad more, add a sprinkle of salt
  • Green onion – the garnish for the top, if you’re not a fan you can definitely omit
