This Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken is a favorite of mine. I love meals that you literally dump into my favorite slow cooker and *magically* 8 hours later its done. What else could be better in the world? Plus, it doesn’t get all dried out like sometimes chicken does. This salsa chicken stays packed full of flavor, it’s juicy, and a great option for meal prep!

How to Make My Slow Cooker Salsa Chicken

  1. Place all ingredients into a slow cooker, cover, and set on low for 8-10 hours.
  2. 2. The chicken will be done when it starts to fall apart, using 2 forks shred the chicken in the slow cooker and mix everything together until it’s fully combined.
  3. 3. Serve in tortillas for chicken tacos, on top of rice, or whatever suits your fancy! Enjoy!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb chicken breast (about 3 breasts)
  • 3 Tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1/2 medium white onion thinly sliced
  • 2 cups salsa
  • 1/2 lime juiced
