Healthier Peanut Butter Energy Bites (No Flour & No Butter)
These healthier bites are seriously the perfect snack to bring along on a hike, pre-workout, or as a pick me up. They are packed with peanut butter and fiber to give you a quick energy boost. Plus they are easy as ever to make!

Ingredients
1/2cupnatural creamy peanut butter
1Tbsphoney
1/8cupbrown sugar
1/3cupold fashioned oats
1/8tspsalt
1/2tspbaking soda
1/2tspvanilla extract
1egg
1/4cupmini M&M's
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350℉. In a medium sized bowl mix together the peanut butter, honey, and brown sugar until combined.
Add in the oats, salt, baking soda, and stir well. In a separate bowl beat the egg and vanilla, and add it to the mixture. Gently fold in the mini M&M's.
Form into 8 balls and place onto a parchment lined baking sheet, press down slightly, and bake for 8 minutes.
Remove when the tops start to golden/brown, they will finish cooking and set as they cool. These are great out of the oven, but even better the next day as the oats soften!
Notes
Some healthier swaps:
More protein: add 1–2 Tbsp protein powder or swap some of the peanut butter for powdered peanut butter
Lower sugar: reduce M&M’s to 2 Tbsp (saves about 60 calories total)
